Applying for Pet Owner Membership
Your Pet Owner Membership helps support:
Funds for further research for the breed via genetic testing and ALAA sponsored health clinics;
Breeder education and responsible breeding practices in supporting our Annual Breeder Roundtable Conferences;
The ALAA maintains the world’s largest database for the preservation and advancement of the breed;
The ALAA’s goal of hosting Doodle Romps around the country;
A one-time $30 fee gives dog owners lifetime ALAA Membership, connects you to a knowledgeable network of breeders and fellow owners, and directly supports our efforts to promote the health and well-being of this beloved developing breed, and to protect the future of the Labradoodle and Australian Labradoodle.
If you own a Labradoodle or Australian Labradoodle and would like to join the ALAA as a Pet Owner Member, you can apply for membership by visiting the link below listed as “Pet Owner Membership Application” and by paying the member fee. (All PayPal links listed below).

Transfer via the ALAA Website. You MUST become a Pet Member in order to transfer ownership of a puppy into your name. Initial Pet Membership fee of $30.00 includes the transfer of one puppy into your name. The link for PayPal is at the bottom of this page. It is called “Lifetime Pet Membership and Registration with the ALAA.”
If you have an ALAA Registration Application or Puppy Certificate, it has an Ownership Transfer Code listed on the bottom. After you have become a Pet Member and have received your login information, you can transfer the dog by logging into the database with your member account and click the link titled “Transfer ownership of dog to me.” Access to the database is the Dog Bone above. Remember, you will need your member number and password, so be sure you have applied for membership and paid the fee. Once you have signed in, you will be prompted to enter the transfer code.

Mail in a signed Pet Transfer Form. If the Puppy Certificate or Dog Registration does not have an Ownership Transfer Code, mail in a signed Pet Transfer Form to the address below. Download Pet Transfer Form here.
Pay using our PayPal system below. If you need to pay by another method, contact the ALAA Treasurer for other payment options and instructions. All fees are payable in U.S. dollars. Click the PayPal Button to purchase $10.00 second dog LIFETIME membership.

The ALAA Registry is available to Member Breeders only. Additional Pedigrees are available at a cost of $15 each. We will provide a pedigree detailing as many as four generations, though we cannot guarantee that each pedigree goes back that far. If the dog in question is owned by an ALAA Member Breeder, the breeder will be notified about the request.
To request a pedigree email: Registrar@alaa-labradoodles.com. Please give the full name of the dog you are requesting a Pedigree for.
The ALAA reserves the right to refuse membership to anyone.
The ALAA enforces a no-refund policy for all monies paid to the association, including pedigree requests, membership applications and dues, kennel fees, dog registration and other fees.
